Making any sort of profit, in Runes of Magic or in real life, comes through trial and error. You may find other methods you think work better, or faster, or are more enjoyable for you. Do not think because someone else has not mentioned it to you, it is not a good idea. There may be some methods others just have not thought of or were taking for granted as a given.
Even though we do not condone ratting, it makes money. Even if you rat people for free, you get a decent amount of kamas from fights and you level(runes of magic gold). Some people will insist to pay you even if you do not ask for anything in return. You can also drop parchments and Small Intelligence scrolls here. Farming rare drops is not generally a good way to make kamas on a consistent basis. Unless you have uber pp and incredible luck.
