The real dps of a char is how much damage per second they do in a prolonged fight. That is, the total damage they do divided by the entire duration of the fight. Every fight it will be different for many reasons, you can not make a basic math equation to calculate it just from your weapon.If our calculations are difficult to read please let us know so we can re-type them.
If you disagree or do not understand why, go read our experiment again carefully. You can ask for clarification if you do not understand the experiment of Runes of Magic Gold. We would like to remind you that faster weapons give more frequent rage boosts from physical attacks, but less rage per hit. The difference in total rage gained from any speed 2H weapon in a prolonged fight is negligible therefore faster weapons do not give more rage, not because of the high speed but because of the offhand producing 50% extra rage.
We should add as a disclaimer here, that our experiment was performed with a warrior/warden and can not necessarily be applied to all warrior combinations. We are studying the fundamentals here, so we would happily wager that it applies also to warrior/knight, and with some extra info warrior/rogue could be studied in the same way.
