If you have maxed out technology skills, you can be in a number of given ability is limited, artisans level to level 6, skillful is limited to 3 skill level, only one master layer, and you want to promote skill of other skills, tires, you must first reduce your current skills.
For example, if your mining forging, carpentry technology has reached proficient level, but you want to improve your armorcrafting skills proficient level(Runes of Magic Gold), you must first demote or mining, forging and carpentry craftsmen. Only you can improve your armorcrafting skill level of proficiency.
Once you have demoted a skill's tier, that skill's level will drop to the upper limit of its new tier level in Runes of Magic Gold. In other words, if you demote a skill from the adept to craftsman tier, that skill's level will drop to level 40. This means that if you want to raise that skill to the adept level again in the future, you will need to start training it from level 40 once more.
